How to Cure a Blocked Sperm Duct Naturally

Men with ejaculatory duct obstruction (EDO) may still be able to conceive using natural methods. This is because the urologist can often treat this condition with a minimally-invasive procedure called transurethral resection of the ejaculatory ducts (TURED).

The epididymis and vas deferens are two coiled tubes that store sperm. However, in some cases the ducts become blocked causing azoospermia.

1. Massage the Seminiferous Tubules

Blocked sperm ducts are responsible for a significant number of cases of male infertility. In addition, they are also a common cause of low volume semen (less than 1.5 milliliters). Other symptoms include abnormal penis discharge and a strong, unusual odor. In some cases, a specialized test is required to determine the cause of the problem. This test can be performed at a fertility clinic.

The human testicles are a pair of organs found within the scrotum. Each testicle contains structures called the seminiferous tubules. These tubes are lined by cells that produce sperm. They are surrounded by tissues called Leydig cells that produce male hormones.

The seminiferous tubules are connected to the epididymis, a structure that collects and stores seminal fluid. Once sperm have been produced, they travel through the tubules to the epididymis and then into the vas deferens. Most blocks in the sperm transportation route can be reversed with specialized surgery. However, some blockages are not reversible, such as complete segmental aplasia of the vas deferens. Surgical techniques such as transurethral resection of the ejaculatory duct (TURED) and vasoepididymostomy have been shown to be effective in unblocking the sperm transportation tube.

2. Drink a lot of water

Ejaculatory Duct Obstruction (EDO) causes a significant number of cases of male infertility. Often there are no signs or symptoms that indicate that a man has an EDO. However, a low volume of semen or a very low sperm count may point to this problem. Some medications like tranquilizers, anti-depressants, and blood pressure medication can cause a decrease in sperm production.

Varicoceles, swollen veins in the scrotum, also interfere with sperm production. These can be caused by inflammation and infection, a tumor, and medical procedures. Bleeding from these conditions can show up in the semen and be a sign of a blockage.

Medications and surgery can cure this condition. The most common surgical procedure to remove a blocked sperm duct is called transurethral resection of the ejaculatory duct (TURED). It involves injecting dye into the vas deferens and then using a cystoscope to find and cut away the blockage. The other treatment, seminal vesiculoscopy, uses a smaller scope to get to the prostate and remove the obstruction from inside the prostate. Both of these treatments are minimally invasive and have some success rate.

3. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables

Ejaculatory duct obstruction (EDO) is responsible for a significant number of cases of male infertility. The ejaculatory ducts (EDs) connect each testicle’s seminal vesicle ducts to the vas deferens, which transports sperm from the testicles to the penis during sexual arousal. The sperm mixes with prostatic fluid and empties into the urethra during ejaculation.

EDO can be caused by hernia repair surgery that creates scar tissue blocking sperm transportation, inflammation of the ejaculatory ducts, or severing of sperm transportation ducts during hernia repair. Blockage can also be a result of birth defects like incomplete development of the ejaculatory ducts or atresia of ducts.

A hernia that affects the ejaculatory duct can be surgically repaired and may help cure azoospermia. Home methods to increase sperm count may work in some cases of azoospermia, but it is important to know that azoospermia can be caused by many different factors, including blockages, hormonal problems, and mixed connections. If these are not treated, then home methods won’t have any effect on azoospermia cure. Medical treatments for azoospermia include re-connecting the sperm ducts and other surgical procedures that can solve this problem.

4. Avoid smoking

There are a number of things that can cause low semen volume. The most common is ejaculatory duct obstruction, which prevents sperm from exiting the body during sexual arousal.

Each testicle connects to the prostate through a tube called the vas deferens. The sperm from each seminal vesicle travels through the vas deferens and the prostate to form a fluid known as semen. This is then passed through the urethra and out of your body. Semen contains sperm cells and other substances that can fertilize a woman’s egg during sexual intercourse.

If you have a low semen volume, it’s important to get it checked by a health care provider. A semen analysis will show how many sperm are in your sample and whether or not the sperm are motile. Your health care provider may also order a transrectal ultrasound to check for an obstruction in the ejaculatory ducts. A sperm aspiration can also help diagnose a blockage in the ejaculatory ducts. If the results of a semen analysis indicate that there are few or no sperm in the sample, you can try to improve your sperm count through lifestyle changes and treatment options.

If you have a total lack of sperm in your semen (azoospermia), it is often due to a blockage of the tubes sperm travel through. This is called Ejaculatory Duct Obstruction or EDO. You can have this condition without knowing it, because sperm travel through more than 12 miles of pipes to get out of your body when you ejaculate.

The condition can be caused by medications, long-term infections and hormone problems. If you have low sperm numbers, your healthcare provider will recommend treatments to improve them.

You can try eating more fruits and vegetables, especially those rich in fructose. This is a major component of sperms. Also, you can take supplements to increase your sperm count. You can also try doing more exercise, such as swimming, yoga and tai chi, to get more physical activity that can boost sperm production and improve your sex life. You should avoid exercises that put a lot of pressure on your testicles. You should also talk to your healthcare provider about any medications you are taking that may be affecting your sperm counts.
